若年発症の虚血性大腸炎4症例における血液凝固系の検討

Abstract

Ischemic colitis is generally considered as a disease of elderly patients with arteriosclelosis. The clinical characteristics and the hemostatic parameters in 4 younger patients with ischemic colitis were analyzed. The patients were 3 females and 1 male, and 25 to 33 years of age. Antithrombin Ⅲ activity, protein C activity, protein S activity and activated protein C ratio were within normal limits, and anticardiolipinβ2 glycoprotein Ⅰ antibody was not detected. There was no laboratory evidence of thrombophilia in these patients. Constipation might be related to the onset of ischemic colitis in 2 of the patients.
