| Abstract: | 代表的な環境ホルモンであるノニルフェノールがすでに明らかにされている「エ
ストロゲン活性」のほかに微生物の細胞増殖や細胞呼吸に対する阻害作用や炎症細胞の活性化
作用を示すことを明らかにし,さらにその作用メカニズムとして活性酸素の生成などのいわゆ
る「酸化ストレス」を誘導することを明らかにした. そして環境ホルモンの本質を酸化ストレス
を誘導する化学物質として理解すると環境ホルモンの毒性評価やその防御方法について新しい
研究の視点が得られる事を紹介する. |
