産後早期の母親としての自信と母乳育児との関連

Abstract

本研究の目的は、産後早期の母親としての自信と母乳育児との関連について明らかにすることである。1ヶ月健診に訪れた母親に母親としての自信や母乳育児について質問紙調査を実施した。母親としての自信と母乳育児との関連について初産婦と経産婦でみた結果、初産婦の1ヶ月後の母親としての自信に有意な関連があったのは、退院時の「うまく授乳できないときの対応」、「授乳時の抱き方・吸わせ方」への自信や、「母乳が足りているかどうか」、「ミルクの量がわからない」という不安や「スタッフによって情報が異なる」ことであった。また、退院時・1ヶ月後において母親としての自信を持っていた母親は、初産婦より経産婦のほうが有意に多いことが明らかになった。

The purpose of the present study is to elucidate the relationship between self-confidence as mothers early postpartum and breastfeeding. Postpartum 1-month-old mothers completed a questionnaire survey with regards to their self-confidence as mothers and breastfeeding. We exanrined the relationship between self-confidence as mothers and breastfeeding in primipara and multipara women. Results demonstrated significant correlations in primipara women between self-confidence as mothers at 1 month postpartum with breastfeeding method at discharge, anxiety about the amount of breastfeeding and discrepancies in information provided by staff. We also found that self-confidence as mothers early postpartum was significantly greater in multipara women at discharge and at 1 month.
