女子大学生の乳がんの早期発見行動を妨げる要因の研究

Abstract

本研究の目的は、女子大学生の乳がんに関する早期発見行動の実態、早期発見行動を妨げる要因を明らかにすることである。18-24歳の看護系女子大学生(以下、看護系)、一般女子大学生(以下、文系)を対象とし、質問紙調査を実施した結果、看護系、文系ともにがんの罹患についての知識が低かった。自己検診実施率は、看護系10.9%、文系2.6%であった。自己検診を実施しない理由として、方法の認知不足が挙げられた。看護系の乳がん検診受診を妨げる要因として、時間的要因と乳がんの罹患意識不足、文系では費用的要因が明らかになった。

The purpose of the present study is to elucidate factors that impede early breast cancer detection behavior in female university students. Female nursing university students, and general female university students aged 18-24 years completed a questionnaire survey. Results indicated that knowledge regarding breast cancer was poor among both nursing students and general female students. The rate of self-examination was 10.9% in nursing students, and 2.6% in general female students. The reason for not performing self-examinations was attributed to a lack of knowing how to. Factors that impeded nursing students from undergoing breast cancer screening included time constraints and a lack of awareness about breast cancer morbidity. Amongst general female students, cost was identified as a factor.
