乳幼児を持つ養育者の「子育て支援」に関する要望

Abstract

A市における乳幼児を持つ養育者の子育て支援に対する要望を実態調査により明らかにし、地域における子育て支援への課題について検討した。[研究方法]乳幼児をもつA 市在住の市民で、無作為に2000世帯に無記名自記式アンケート調査を実施し、回答を得た886世帯を本研究の対象とした。[結果及び考察]回答者は、女性が88.7%、男性が11.3%であった。「子育ての相談者」は、配偶者が28.0%と最も多く、「子育てを行う上での不安や不満」は、自分の時間がもてない、治安の悪化、教育費の心配等が多かった。子育てによる仕事への影響については、男女ともに子育てが仕事に影響すると感じており、職業形態別でも、子育てが仕事に影響すると感じていることが明らかになった(p<0.001)。結果から、地域の課題として、妊娠・出産・子育てに対する経済的支援の増大とともに配偶者に対する正確な育児情報を伝える必要性、さらに近隣との関係性を育み、安心・安全な環境作りが求められる。

By conducting a factual survey, we examined the issues of chi1dcare support in the region by clarifying the demand for childcare support for caregivers with infants in City A. [Research Method] In the present study, the participants were residents living in City A with infants. 2000 households were randomly chosen, and an anonymous self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted; 886 responses were received. [Results and Discussion] Of the respondents, 88.7% were female and 11.3% of were male. In response to the question, "Whom do you speak with about childcare?" the most common answer cited was one's spouse, which accounted for 28.0%. In response to the question, "What are you anxious about and frustrαted with in childcare?" several participants answered as follows: 1)"I don't have any free time, " 2) "I am worried about the public security," and 3)"I am worried about educational expenses. "Man and woman felt that child care inf1uenced work(p<0.001). The results suggested that these regional issues require the following solutions: 1) increase financial support for pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare 2) convey accurate childcare information to the spouse, 3) foster relationships with neighbors, and 4) create a safe and secure environment.
