| 抄録: | Effects of dibutyryl cyclic AMP (DBcAMP) on the growth of cultured hepatoma cells were studied with rat Morris hepatoma cells (HTC) and human hepatoma cells (HepG＿2). DBcAMP inhibited DNA synthesis in HTC without cytotoxicity. DBcAMP also induced tyrosine aminotransferase (TAT) in HTC. DBcAMP inhibited DNA synthesis in HepG＿2 at each time point during the 24h-culture. DBcAMP delayed the population doubling time of HepG＿2 and the time at which the percentage of the cells with mitosis reached a peak. These observations suggested that DBcAMP has an inhibitory effect on the growth of hepatoma cells by elongating the cell cycle. |
