腸閉塞をきたした小腸アニサキス症の1例

Abstract

A 34-year-old man complaining of abdominal pain was admitted to our hospital with a diagnosis of ileus. He was suspected of having strangulated ileus and an emergency operation was performed. At laparotomy, we found an inflammatory tumor with redness and pus about 130 cm from Bauhin's valve on the oral side and did a partial resection of the ileum. Anisakiasis was found in the edematous mucosa of the resected specimen. We checked that he had eaten raw mackerel on the previous day. Anisakiasis of the small intestine is a relatively rare disease and often presents difficulty in preoperative diagnosis. We should consider the operative indication for Anisakiasis of the small intestine with ileus symptoms, because the disease condition will worsen to perforation and necrosis of the intestine.
